An age-old tradition guided the creative spirit in the design of this classic and timeless headscarf. Paisley has existed in Iranian art for thousands of years. Taking the shape of an elongated mandorla, this symbol of eternal spring will accompany you throughout winter with its warm and bright colours.
To further bring out its evocative charm, we decided to adopt the “Non-Finished” technique, exploiting its ability to fix the parts hidden beyond the contour line with just a few, softened marks.
The early dawn atmosphere is tinged with memory.
Taken from the opera buffa in two acts by Gioachino Rossini “Il Turco in Italia”
First execution: August 14, 1814, Milan
Non si dà follia maggiore
dell’amare un solo oggetto:
noia arreca, e non diletto
il piacere d’ogni dì.
Sempre un sol fior non amano
l’ape, l’auretta, il rio;
di genio e cor volubile
amar così vogl’io,
voglio cangiar così.
